What is Doublegram Security? A Telegram Bot for Groups

Doublegram Security is a Telegram bot for groups: it checks everyone who joins, keeps spam, floods and raids out, and gives admins the tools to moderate.

Open Doublegram Security

Doublegram Security is a Telegram bot for groups. It checks everyone who joins before they can write, keeps spam, floods and raids out of the chat, and gives admins the tools to moderate. You add @doublegram_captcha_bot to your group as an admin and choose everything from /settings, inside the group.

What it does

  • At the door: whoever joins stays muted until they tap Verify me and pass a quick check on a page that opens inside Telegram. No puzzles: for most people, opening the page is enough. Whoever doesn't do it in time is removed. Security can also have new members accept your rules, and check join requests before people get in. See How Security checks new members.
  • In the chat: Antispam, Banned words, Alphabets and Explicit images stop what people send, Antiflood slows down whoever floods the chat, and Antiraid steps in when many accounts arrive together. The Country firewall, Network Trust and Names check decide who gets in, and Media hold keeps media back for a new member's first messages.
  • For admins: moderation commands such as /ban, /mute and /warn, alerts on what was stopped, and a community to manage up to 5 chats together. Security also works next to Rose, Group Help and Combot.

Free and Premium

The door is free: the verification, the time to verify and what happens to who doesn't, the verification page, rules to accept, join requests, and the welcome and cleanup messages.

The defenses in the chat, quiz and questions for new members, the commands, the alerts and the community are part of Doublegram Premium, $9.99 a month. See Security Premium.

A free Doublegram account

Security protects a group only after one of its admins signs in to Doublegram with Telegram. It's free, and one admin is enough. Until then Security is in the group but checks nobody, and answers admins with 🛡 Security is in the group. To turn on protection, sign in to Doublegram with Telegram. It's free.

Members never sign up for anything: they only tap Verify me.

Where it works

  • Supergroups: Telegram gives bots the permissions Security needs only there. If your group is a basic group, Security tells you how to convert it.
  • Channels: nobody joins a channel to write, so there's no door to watch. Add Security to the channel's discussion group, where the comments are. See Telegram channel comments.
  • Its private chat: where you sign in to Doublegram, turn on Premium, create the entry quiz and manage a community. The settings of a group are never there: they're in the group.

Languages

Security speaks English, Italian, Spanish, French and German. Each group picks its language with the flags under /start, and a new group starts in English. The verification page can follow the group's language or the language of each person who joins.

Get started

  1. Open @doublegram_captcha_bot and tap ➕ Add to a group.
  2. Make Security an admin with the Ban users permission.
  3. If Security asks, tap 🛡 Turn on protection and sign in to Doublegram with Telegram.
  4. Send /settings in the group to choose the rest.
