Security Settings: Where to Find Them and Who Can Change Them

Doublegram Security's settings are inside the group: an admin sends /settings, or sends /start and taps ⚙️ Settings. Only the group's admins can use them, and every group has its own. There are no settings in Security's private chat.

Open the settings

• In the private chat, /settings answers Settings are per group: send /settings inside the group.
• A member who isn't an admin gets Only this group's admins can change Security's settings.
• If no admin has signed in to Doublegram yet, the menu doesn't open: Security answers with the 🛡 Turn on protection button. See How to add Security to a Telegram group.

What's in the menu

The menu is called ⚙️ Security settings and has one button per area:

• 🚪 Member entry: the verification, the time to verify, what happens to whoever doesn't, the look of the verification page, rules, quiz and questions, Network Trust, the Country firewall, Media hold, Names check, join requests, and 💬 Group messages for the welcome and the cleanup. • 🌊 Flood and raids: Antiflood and Antiraid.
• 💬 Message control: Antispam, Banned words, Alphabets, Explicit images, Edited messages and First comment on posts.
• 🔨 Moderation: the moderation commands, warnings, and the trace commands leave in the chat.
• 🔔 Notifications: the log channel and where admin alerts go.
• 👥 Community: whether the group is in a community, with a button to manage it in private.
• 🔐 Who can change settings: all admins, or only the owner.

In a group without Premium, Premium features show · 💎 Premium next to their name. They open anyway, so you can see what they do. See Security Premium.

The lines at the top

Under the title, Security says what needs fixing:

• ⚠️ Join verification is off: nobody checks who joins. Turn it on in 🚪 Member entry.
• ⚠️ Security can't stop anyone: it needs the Ban users permission. Give it that permission in the group's admin list.
• ⚠️ Alerts reach nobody: Security still acts, but admins don't hear about it. Only in Premium groups: check 🔔 Notifications.

When there's nothing to fix, it says ✅ The main defenses are on. with Premium, or ✅ Join verification is on. without.

How the buttons work

• 🟢 is on and 🔴 is off: tap to switch. ✅ marks the current choice.
• For numbers and times, use − and + or a preset, then ✅ Save. ✖️ Cancel changes nothing.
• Changes apply right away. ◀️ Back goes up one screen.
• The settings have no close button: go ◀️ Back to the /start screen and tap ✖️ Close menu.

Change the language

Security speaks English, Italian, Spanish, French and German. The language isn't in /settings: an admin sends /start in the group and taps a flag, 🇮🇹 🇺🇸 🇪🇸 🇫🇷 or 🇩🇪. A new group speaks English until an admin taps a flag, whatever language the admins use in Telegram.

In Security's private chat, the flags under /start set your own language. The verification page has its own choice: 🚪 Member entry → 🎨 Verification look → Group language or Each person's language.

Who can change settings

All admins can change the settings. The owner can keep them for themselves: 🔐 Who can change settings → Only the owner. Other admins see the choice but can't change it.

With Only the owner, other admins can still send /settings, but every button answers ⚠️ Only the group owner can change these settings. An admin who stays anonymous never counts as the owner.
