Telegram Verification Bot: How Security Checks New Members

Doublegram Security is a Telegram verification bot: everyone who joins your group stays muted until they prove they're a person. They tap one button, a page opens inside Telegram and checks them in a few seconds, with no puzzle to solve. Whoever doesn't do it in time is removed.

What happens when someone joins

1. Security mutes them: they can read the chat but can't write.
2. A message in the group greets them by name: 👋 Hi Anna! Before you can write here, tap the button and pass a quick check: it takes a few seconds. It also says how many minutes they have and what happens if they miss it.
3. They tap Verify me. The verification page opens inside Telegram, with the group's photo, name and description.
4. For most people the check runs on its own, with an invisible reCAPTCHA: they just wait a moment. Accounts that look riskier get a box to tap.
5. Once they pass, they can write, and the group message turns into a welcome: ✅ Anna passed the verification and can now write in the group. Welcome!

What new members get

• The group's permissions, nothing more: after the check they get what the group allows every member. If members can't send links or media, neither can they.
• One check for all their groups: if they're waiting to verify in several groups with Security, one check unlocks all of them.
• A new check if they come back: whoever leaves and joins again verifies again. With Network Trust, part of Premium, people already verified in other groups can get in without a new check. See Network Trust.

Turn verification on or off

Verification is on as soon as the group is protected. To change it, send /settings in the group and open 🚪 Member entry. The first button, 🟢 Verification, turns it off; tap it again to turn it back on.

With verification off, nobody checks who joins, and the Country firewall stops too, because it only runs during the check. People who were already waiting aren't let in: they stay muted until an admin gives them back their permissions in Telegram.

Send someone to verification: /verify

An admin can send any member through the check, even someone who joined long ago: reply to one of their messages with /verify (/captcha works too). They're muted and get the same message, time and outcome as a new member, so if they don't verify they're removed or banned as set in 🚫 Missed check. It's free.

• ⚠️ Reply to a message from the member to verify, then send the command. You sent it without replying.
• ❌ Administrators do not need to verify. and ❌ Bots cannot be verified.
• 🔴 Join verification is off in this group. Turn it on from /settings.

The page: look, language and window

In 🚪 Member entry → 🎨 Verification look you choose:

• Doublegram, Telegram colors or Group colors: Doublegram colors on a dark background, the same page in Telegram blue, or the group's photo and its color. Group colors needs Doublegram Premium.
• Group language or Each person's language: the group's language, the same as Security's messages, or the Telegram language of whoever joins. The page speaks English, Italian, Spanish, French and German.
• Compact window or Large window: half the screen or the full height. With rules, quiz or questions it becomes large when they start. On iPhone, Telegram may open it at full height anyway.

Without Premium, the page ends with Protected by Doublegram and a button to enter the group. With Premium, people go straight into the group.

In 🚪 Member entry → 📜 Rules, quiz and questions, tap 👁 See the page. It opens the page as people joining see it, marked Preview. Nothing gets saved, and only the group's admins can open it.
