Admin Alerts: Where Security Tells You What It Stopped

Choose where Security's admin alerts arrive: a log channel, a private chat, or the Telegram group for admins only, per feature, plus the notice to the person hit.

Open Doublegram Security

Doublegram Security can tell your admins every time it stops someone: in a log channel, in private, or in the group where only admins see it. You choose the places once in /settings → 🔔 Notifications, and each feature can have its own. Admin alerts are part of Doublegram Premium: see Security Premium for your group.

Three places, together or apart

WhereDefaultGood to know
To the log channelOnEvery alert in one place, read by all admins. Works once a channel is connected.
In private to adminsOnReaches the admins who have started the bot in private.
In the group, admins onlyOffA message in the group that only each admin sees.

They add up: an alert goes to every place that's on.

Connect a log channel

  1. Create a private channel and add Security there as an admin.
  2. In the group, send /settings → 🔔 Notifications → 🔗 Connect log channel.
  3. Within 5 minutes, forward any message from the channel into the group.

The channel gets ✅ Log channel connected, and the group the same line with the channel's name. You can delete the forwarded message afterwards. If Security isn't an admin in the channel, it asks you to add it and forward again. 🗑 Disconnect stops it.

Alerts in private

Telegram doesn't let a bot write to someone first. Each admin who wants alerts in private opens @doublegram_captcha_bot and taps Start once. Security refreshes the list of the group's admins every few hours, so a new admin may wait a little for the first alert.

Different places for each feature

🚪 Member entry, Antiraid, Antiflood, Antispam, Banned words, Alphabets, Explicit images and First comment on posts each have a 🔔 Admin alerts button. As general setting is on by default: turn it off to pick other places for that feature only. Some alerts can also be turned off one by one:

  • In 🚪 Member entry: Member removed, Join request declined, Blocked by the country firewall, Quiz failed (with a quiz) and Answers from new members (with quiz or questions, off by default).
  • In First comment on posts: Comment not posted and Posted as plain text (broken HTML).

What an alert says

Each one says who, what and what was done, for example 🔔 Banned word detected, 🔔 Link blocked or 🔔 Member removed. Antiraid and Antiflood send an incident card that updates as things go, with buttons to act on it: see Antiraid.

If no place can be reached, the screen says so: ⚠️ Alerts reach nobody: Security still acts, but admins don't hear about it.

The notice to the person

When Antispam, Banned words, Alphabets or Explicit images remove a message, Security can also tell its author why, for example 🚫 Your message was removed: it contained a word that is not allowed here. Set it with 💬 Notice to the person in each filter:

  • In chat: only to them, the default: only the person sees it.
  • In chat: visible to everyone: it deletes itself after a short while.
  • In chat: nothing.
  • Also in private (if they started the bot): off by default.

A warning always reaches the person, even with In chat: nothing. See How to stop spam.
