Telegram Channel and Group Statistics: Ask the AI
Ask Doublegram AI how your Telegram channels and groups are doing: members, activity, health and Security in plain words, what Security did, and Security's settings changed in a sentence.
Open Doublegram AIDoublegram AI answers questions about your Telegram channel and group statistics in plain words: how did my groups do this week?, why did my group lose members on Monday?. It reads members, activity, health and Doublegram Security for each chat, and it changes Security's settings when you ask. Switching a chat's statistics on is free; reading the numbers is part of Doublegram Premium.
What you can ask
- All your chats: members, change, activity, health and Security, one line per chat.
- A ranking by members, growth, messages, people who write, health, failed verifications or raids: which channel grew most this month?
- One chat in depth: who joined, who left and how they joined, messages and who writes, the health score with what would raise it, Security, and the admin team if you're one of its admins.
- Why: the AI looks at what changed in the same days and keeps the facts apart from what only coincides.
Periods: the last 24 hours for one chat, then 7 days, 30 days, 3, 6 or 12 months. Health goes from Excellent and Good to Fair and Needs work, and Security's state is All calm, Under pressure, Under attack or Verification off. When a name fits more than one of your chats, the AI may first ask which one with buttons: that question costs nothing.
What Security did
Ask what did Security do tonight in Weekend Hikers?, who banned Luca? or who changed the settings?: the AI answers who acted, whether Security by its rules or an admin with a command, a button, the Telegram app or the Doublegram site, what they did, to whom, why and when.
Which chats, and who sees the numbers
The AI knows the groups and channels where you added a Doublegram bot, such as Doublegram AI, Security, Scribe or Lookup, and the ones where you're an admin. The numbers come with Doublegram Premium: yours, or the Premium of the person the chat belongs to, which also covers the chat's admins. With access, a question costs an ordinary answer: 4 credits, 8 with the Max model.
Without access you get 📊 The numbers of your groups come with Doublegram Premium with 💎 Go Premium · $9.99/month, and that answer is free. Where the statistics of those chats are off, the same message offers 📊 Switch on the statistics: switching them on is free, so the numbers are already there when you go Premium. When some chats are open and others aren't, the AI answers for the open ones and says the rest need Premium.
Switch on the statistics
Messages, reactions, joins and leaves are counted only in the chats where statistics are on, from the moment they're switched on. They're switched on and off only by the chat's owner on Telegram, or by whoever added the Doublegram bots. Other admins see the numbers when the chat has Premium, but can't switch them.
- Write switch on the statistics of Weekend Hikers, or tap 📊 Switch on the statistics in the message you get when you add Doublegram AI to a chat.
- check my groups also proposes to switch them on in every chat where they're off, with one confirmation.
- A confirmation message, 📊 Statistics for Weekend Hikers, says what they give you and that Doublegram's bots collect them only if you allow it. Under 🔒 The data: who writes and when are counted, never the text of the messages, and the numbers are visible only to you and the chat's other admins. Tap ✅ Switch on, or ✅ Switch on in all 3 for several chats.
The counting is done by a Doublegram bot that's an admin in the chat: Doublegram AI, Security, Scribe or Lookup. Without one, nothing is counted until one becomes an admin. Switch off the statistics of Weekend Hikers asks 📊 Switch off the statistics for Weekend Hikers? with 🔴 Switch off: counting stops, and the numbers collected so far stay.
What the numbers leave out
- Views of channel posts: Telegram doesn't give them to bots.
- A chat with statistics off: only its member count, plus Security's numbers where Security is in the group.
- Verifications are kept for 90 days.
- For periods longer than 30 days there are totals, not day by day.
- Health is computed every night on the last 30 days, whatever period you ask.
Security's settings, read and changed
Ask how is Security set up in Weekend Hikers? and a message arrives, 🛡 Security · Weekend Hikers, as it is now, part by part: Verification, Network Trust, Country firewall, Media block, Antiflood, Antiraid, Banned words, Explicit images, Antispam and Edited messages, with 💎 on the Premium parts. It shows what's on or different from the defaults: ask for all the settings to see everything.
To change them, say it: switch on Antiflood in Weekend Hikers, set the time to verify to 3 minutes, add casino to the banned words, block Russia in the country firewall. The AI reads the settings first, then proposes:
- A confirmation message shows each change as before → after, and at the bottom Changes: 2. They apply right away.
- Tap ✅ Confirm (with several changes, ✅ Confirm all 2), ✏️ Change to say what's different, or ✖️ Cancel.
- Security saves everything at once and the message becomes ✅ Security · Weekend Hikers, with the new values and the time. Antiraid picks up changes within 20 seconds, banned words within a minute.
Set up the group with the right settings gets a proposal built on the group's numbers: it only adds and tightens, and never switches anything off. When saving, Security checks that you're an admin of the group right now, and the owner if only the owner may change settings. Parts marked 💎 need Security Premium in that group: without it they show needs Premium and are left out. Confirming costs nothing. Security works in groups, not channels: see Security settings.
Telegram's own statistics
Telegram has its own statistics for channels and for some groups. When they're available, admins find Statistics and Boosts in the channel's profile, and View Statistics in the profile's menu. The menu names change a little between Telegram apps. They show what only Telegram knows, such as the views and shares of each post and where followers come from.
Doublegram AI works with what Doublegram's bots count: who writes and when, who joins and leaves and how, health and Security. It can look at several of your chats together and explain what changed and when. To add a Doublegram bot to more chats, see Add Doublegram AI to your Telegram channel or group.
