Ask the AI About Photos, PDFs and Files in Telegram

To ask the AI about a photo in Telegram, send it to @DoublegramAIBot with your question in the caption: the AI looks at the picture, reads the text in it and answers. The same works with PDFs and with messages you forward from other chats. It costs what any answer costs, 4 credits or 8 with the Max model, with nothing extra for the file. See How AI credits work.

Photos

• Send it as a photo, with the question in the caption: what does this error mean?, translate this menu, is this message a scam?, write a post about this product.
• Screenshots work well: chats, error messages, charts, receipts, web pages.
• The AI reads one photo per message, with its question. Photos sent together as an album aren't read together: each one arrives as its own message and gets its own answer. Send them one at a time, each with its question.
• A picture sent as a file isn't looked at: send it as a photo.

PDFs

Send a PDF of up to 10 MB with what you need: summarize this contract, list the deadlines in this document, translate the second page.

The AI reads a photo or a PDF in the message it arrives with. For a new question about the same file later on, ask it in the same conversation, or send the file again with the question.

Forwarded messages

Forward a message, a post or a voice message from another chat: the AI reads it, knows who it comes from, and answers right away, for the price of an answer. Then ask what else you need, for example write a polite reply or is this offer real?. A forwarded voice message is turned into text first: see Talk to the AI with voice messages.

If you forward one of your own posts that Doublegram AI published in a channel, the AI recognizes it: say what to correct and it prepares the change for you to confirm.

What it can't read

• Videos (round video messages are turned into text), GIFs, and files other than PDF, such as Word or Excel documents. PDFs over 10 MB aren't read either.
• Sent alone, they get a short message that asks you to write the question, say it in a voice message, or send a photo or a PDF.
• With a caption, the AI reads only the caption, and the file stays in the conversation, ready to go into a post.

Use your files again

Every photo, video and file you send stays in the conversation with a number, so you can use it later without sending it again, until you start a new conversation with /new:

• put that photo in the post: the post goes out with your photo.
