Telegram Channel Automation: Posts That Publish Themselves
Automate your Telegram channel: Doublegram AI publishes on the days and at the times you choose, with new content written by the AI every time or your own text, the same every time.
Open Doublegram AITo automate a Telegram channel, tell @DoublegramAIBot what to publish, where and when. For example: every Friday at 6 pm publish the weekend's events in Weekend Hikers News. A confirmation message describes the automation, you tap ✅ Create, and from then on the posts publish themselves.
Two kinds
In /automations, ➕ New automation shows the two kinds:
- 🤖 AI writes it: new content every time, such as news, summaries, the weather, your groups' numbers. You describe it in words, the AI prepares it, and you confirm. Preparing it costs one answer, 4 credits (8 with Max), and each run costs credits.
- 📝 Same text: the same message every time, such as rules, a reminder, a greeting. Send the text that should go out every time, exactly as it should look. Then pick where and when: no AI, no credits. Text only, no media. Then 📍 Where should "…" go out?, and the confirmation. It starts every Monday at 09:00: change it with ✏️ Change → 🕐 Days and time.
You can also just write it in the chat, without the menu: every Monday at 9 publish: Weekly call at 10, link in the pinned message.
The confirmation message
🔁 New automation, with its name, says in a few sentences what it does, for example:
- Every Friday at 18:00 it publishes a post written by AI in Weekend Hikers News.
- It keeps going until you stop it., or It stops after 10 runs: the last one will be …
- Where they apply: Before writing it looks at: 🌐 the web., Each time AI also creates a new image., It writes with Max, the highest quality., It goes out only if: …
- The cost: 💰 4 credits per run, about 17 a month., or Free: no AI. for the same text.
- First run: …
Under it: ✅ Create, ✏️ Change and ✖️ Cancel. Once created, the bot says ✅ … is active. First run … in …, with 🧪 Try now and ⏸ Pause.
✏️ Change opens ✏️ What do you want to change?: 🕐 Days and time, 📍 Where it goes out, 📝 What it writes, 🔚 When it stops, ✋ Before publishing, 🏷 Rename and 💬 Ask in words. Every tap saves at once, for free: ✅ Saved. Asking in words goes through the AI and costs one answer.
When it runs
- On days of the week at a time: every weekday at 8, on Saturdays at 18. Up to 6 times a day: at 9 and at 18, or ➕ Add a time.
- Every so many hours or minutes: every 6 hours. With the buttons, 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 hours, or ✏️ Another from 15 minutes to 7 days.
- When it starts: starting next Monday.
- When it stops: ♾ Doesn't stop by itself, after a number of runs (1 to 1000), or 📅 Until a day.
Times follow your time zone. The first time you schedule something, the bot shows the time it assumes: tap the right one if it's different where you are. Automations that read anything other than the web run at most every 15 minutes.
What it writes and what it looks at
An automation written by the AI follows your instruction every time: ✏️ Change → 📝 What it writes shows it, with ✏️ Change the instruction, the image, the quality and 📝 Use a fixed text, free.
Before writing, it can look at 🌐 the web, 🪙 crypto prices, 𝕏 posts on X, 📊 the data of your groups and channels, 📝 what was said in your groups (Scribe), 🛡 what Security did in your groups and 🧩 the setup of your chats. For example:
- every morning at 7 update the pinned post in Weekend Hikers with the weather for Sunday's hike: the web.
- every evening at 8 send me the summary of Weekend Hikers: what Scribe keeps of the group.
- every Monday at 9 send me how my groups did this week: your groups' numbers.
Looking at more sources doesn't change the cost. 🔎 What it looks at first switches them on and off with a tap. Your groups' numbers and what Security did come with Doublegram Premium, yours or that of the chat's owner; what was said needs Doublegram Scribe in that group. If Premium ends, the automation waits (⏳) and starts again by itself when Premium is back. See Telegram channel and group statistics.
Credits
- Same text: no AI and no credits.
- Written by the AI: 4 credits a run, 8 with Max, 6 more with an image. Say use the best model for this one to put just that automation on Max. An image works for automations that write new posts from the web or from nothing, and it's charged only when the post goes out with it.
An automation that writes posts doesn't repeat itself: when a new post says the same as one of its recent ones, or there's nothing new to say, that run is skipped and nothing is charged. Its screen in /automations shows it on the Last run line.
Update a post instead of publishing new ones
An automation can rewrite a post that Doublegram AI already published: every morning at 7 update the pinned post in Weekend Hikers with the weather for Sunday's hike. The confirmation message says … it updates "…" in Weekend Hikers by itself. It's always written by the AI and has no image. If that post is removed, the automation pauses: "…" is paused: the post it updated isn't published any more.
Alerts that stay quiet
Add a condition and the automation becomes an alert: warn me if Weekend Hikers loses more than 50 members in a day. The confirmation message says It goes out only if: … and 💰 4 credits when it sends something; a check that finds nothing is free. A message arrives only when the condition is true; the screen of the alert shows how many times in a row it stayed silent, so you can tell it's working.
Where it goes
To your groups and channels, to Discord, or to you in private: send it to me means 📍 Here, in private, and a report without a destination comes to you. With ✋ Before publishing → Comes here first for approval, every run arrives in private first, with buttons to publish or change it: if you don't approve it, it doesn't go out. Up to 50 automations can be active at once. To pause, try, change or delete them, see Manage your automations.
