The @DoublegramAIBot Telegram bot uses credits instead of a fixed monthly AI subscription. You buy a balance in Telegram, spend a little on each successful request, and top up when you need more.

What costs credits?
Credits are deducted when the bot completes a successful action, such as:
- Chat replies — cost depends on your text model (shown in
/model) - Image generation — separate image model cost
- Image analysis (Vision) — model cost + 1 extra credit
- Web search — +5 credits when search runs
- Automations — each scheduled run (model + optional extras)
- Refine actions — Longer, Shorter, Regenerate count as new requests
Voice transcription is free. Credits apply only to the AI reply after your voice note is transcribed.
Failed requests are not charged — if the AI errors or connection fails, your balance stays the same.
Model costs
More capable models usually cost more per request. When you open /model, each option shows its price — for example Gemini 2.5 Flash (3/req) means 3 credits per successful message.
Your active model and cost also appear in /status.
Tip: Use lighter models for quick tasks; switch to stronger models only when you need depth.
Check your balance
Send /credits or tap Credits on the /start menu. You see:
- Current balance
- Budget summary if you set one with
/budget - A short reminder that credits never expire
- Get AI Credits to buy more
Buy more credits
From /credits → Get AI Credits (or Purchase Credits). Pick a pack and pay securely via Stripe.
You need a linked Doublegram account to purchase. Credits are added to your balance after payment. Purchases on doublegram.com sync to the bot when your account is linked.
