Telegram Auto Reply in Groups: /reply and /unreply

When the same question keeps coming back in the group (the rules, the link, the schedule), let Scribe answer it. An admin ties a message to a word, and every time someone writes just that word, Scribe replies with that message. It's free. Other group bots call these filters.

Create an automatic reply

1. Write the answer as a normal message in the group, or find one that's already there.
2. Reply to it with /reply and the word: /reply rules.
3. Scribe confirms: ✅ Done: when someone writes «rules», Scribe answers with this message.

The word

• One word, without spaces, up to 40 characters. An emoji works too.
• Capital letters don't matter, and neither does punctuation around the word: Rules! works like rules.
• Scribe answers only when someone writes just that word, not when it's part of a longer message.

What it can answer with

Text with its formatting, photos, videos, GIFs, stickers, voice messages, video messages, audio and files. Captions keep their formatting too. Scribe doesn't store the files: Telegram sends them again.

More replies for one word

Use /reply with a word that already has replies, and Scribe asks what to do: ➕ Add, 🔄 Replace or ✖️ Cancel. After adding, choose how to send them: 🎲 One at random or 📨 All. Only whoever wrote /reply can choose, within 10 minutes.

See and remove

• /replies lists the group's automatic replies. Any admin can use it.
• /unreply rules removes all the replies to that word.

Who can create them

The admins, or only the owner if they kept Scribe's settings for themselves. See Scribe settings. There's no limit on the number of words or replies.

The same word gets at most one answer every 3 seconds. Automatic replies stay if Scribe leaves the group: they're back if you add it again.
