Summarize and Translate Telegram Messages in Your Group

Three commands to keep up with the group without scrolling back: /summary sums up everything you missed, /tldr a single long message, and /translate translates a message for everyone. They use Scribe's AI, so they need the group's Premium.

/summary: what you missed

Send /summary in the group and Scribe tells you what happened, in five short points at most. Only you see the answer.

• /summary: since your last message, if you wrote more than an hour ago. Otherwise, the last 24 hours.
• /summary today: since midnight, on the group's clock.
• /summary 24h: the last 24 hours.
• /summary week: the last 7 days.

The summary is in your language, unless the admins chose a single language for the AI.

/tldr: the gist of a long message

Reply to a long message with /tldr. Scribe sums it up in two or three sentences, in the group's language, for everyone to read.

/translate: translate a message for the group

Reply to a message with /translate and Scribe translates it into the language of your Telegram app, keeping names, links and formatting. For another language, write it after the command: /translate Spanish. The translation is for everyone to read.

Telegram can also translate a message, but only for you: turn on the Translate button in Settings → Language. Translating whole chats is part of Telegram Premium. /translate puts the translation in the group, so everyone can read it.

What they cost

Each one is an answer from the AI: 4 credits to whoever provides the group's Premium. To find a message without the AI, use /search, which is free. See Search old messages.
