Telegram Reminder Bot: Set Reminders in Your Group

Ask Scribe in your own words and it reminds the group at the right time: /remind tomorrow at 9 call Mario. Reminders are set by the AI, so setting them needs the group's Premium. Seeing and deleting them is free.

How to set a reminder

• /remind followed by what and when: /remind Friday at 6pm team call.
• Or mention Scribe: @DoublegramScribeBot remind @anna and @marco on the 1st of every month to send the invoices.

Scribe confirms in its answer. Each request costs 4 credits, like any answer from the AI.

Repeating reminders

Every day, every week or every month. A monthly reminder set for the 31st arrives on the last day of shorter months.

Who gets tagged

Up to 10 people, by @username. If you don't name anyone, the reminder tags you.

When it arrives

⏰ Reminder for @anna @marco, followed by the text, as a reply to the message that asked for it. Repeating reminders also say when they come back, like 🔁 Every Friday at 18:00.

In groups with topics it arrives in the same topic, or in the general chat if the topic has been closed.

The group's time

Reminders follow the group's clock: at 9 means 9 for the group. Until an admin picks the time zone, Scribe uses the one of the group's language, and shows the buttons to pick the right one under its answer. See Scribe settings.

See and delete reminders: /reminders

/reminders shows the group's reminders, up to 20, each with its date, how often it repeats and who it tags, and a 🗑 button under each one. Anyone can use it, for free. Only whoever set a reminder, or an admin, can delete it.

Change a reminder

Ask Scribe: move the team call reminder to 7pm. You can also ask it to delete one: it shows a 🗑 Delete button to confirm. In both cases, only whoever set the reminder or an admin.

Limits

• Up to 2 years ahead.
• Up to 500 characters of text.
• Up to 100 reminders waiting in each group.

If Scribe can no longer write in the group, or leaves it, the reminders are cancelled. If the group's Premium pauses, the reminders already set keep arriving.

A reminder just for you

Telegram has its own reminders, for you alone: in Saved Messages, write the text, hold the Send button and choose Set a Reminder. Scribe's reminders are for the group, with the right people tagged.
