Every AI model has a default style, but in Telegram you may want tighter, more predictable answers — or more creative ones. The @DoublegramAIBot Telegram bot lets you control that with temperature, a setting that affects how random or focused replies are in your private chat.
Use the /temperature command in your private chat with @DoublegramAIBot. No menu required — just type the command.
What temperature does
Lower values (around 0.0–0.3) make replies more deterministic and factual — the model sticks closer to the most likely answer.
Middle values (around 0.4–0.7) give balanced, natural conversation — good for most everyday chat.
Higher values (around 0.8–2.0) increase variety and creativity — useful for brainstorming, storytelling, or when you want unexpected angles.
Tip: If answers feel too repetitive, raise temperature slightly. If they feel too loose or inaccurate, lower it.
How to use /temperature
See current setting:
Send /temperature with no arguments. The bot shows your current temperature (or default if you never changed it) and recommended ranges.
Set a value:
Send /temperature followed by a number between 0.0 and 2.0.
/temperature 0.2— precise, factual answers/temperature 0.7— balanced everyday chat/temperature 1.2— more creative variation
Reset to default:
Send /temperature reset or /temperature default to clear your custom setting and use the model's built-in default again.
When to change temperature
- Code, math, translation, data — try 0.0–0.3 for consistent, accurate output.
- General questions and email drafts — 0.5–0.7 usually works well.
- Creative writing, slogans, brainstorming — try 0.8–1.2 or higher.
Temperature applies to your chat messages with the selected text model. It does not change how image generation or automations behave (those use their own settings).
Important notes
- Works in your private Telegram chat with the bot only — the command is ignored in groups.
- Your setting is saved per user — you do not need to set it every session.
- Invalid values (below 0.0 or above 2.0) are rejected with an error message.
- Changing model with
/modeldoes not reset temperature — use/temperature resetif you want the default again.
Try it: Send /temperature 0.3, then ask a factual question. Send /temperature 1.0 and ask the same question again — compare how the tone changes.
Quick reference
/temperature— show current value and help/temperature 0.7— set custom value (0.0–2.0)/temperature reset— back to model default- Lower = more precise · Higher = more creative
