Firewall Blacklist Mode on Telegram

Block specific countries only in your Telegram group. Open /firewall with @doublegram_captcha_bot, keep Blacklist selected, tap countries to block — joiners from those regions are removed before captcha; all others verify normally.

Blacklist mode is the default geographic firewall behavior in @doublegram_captcha_bot: block listed countries, allow everyone else in your Telegram group to continue to captcha.

Set up blacklist

  1. In the group, send /firewall (admin only).
  2. Confirm mode shows ⚫ Blacklist (toggle if needed).
  3. Tap countries on the paginated list to add or remove them from the block list.
  4. Use page navigation to browse all countries (10 per page).
  5. Close the panel when done — rules save automatically.

Example use cases

  • Block regions where you see repeated bot raids
  • Block countries irrelevant to your community's language or market
  • Layer with captcha — firewall catches region floods before reCAPTCHA cost

What blocked users experience

  1. They join and get muted like any new member.
  2. They tap Verify Captcha and open the Mini App.
  3. Firewall detects blocked country → immediate ban or kick.
  4. No reCAPTCHA challenge is shown.

Empty blacklist: With no countries selected, blacklist mode blocks nobody — all joiners proceed to captcha.

Quick reference

  • Mode: ⚫ Blacklist (default)
  • Command: /firewall
  • Blocks: only selected countries
  • Allows: all other countries
