Doublegram Scribe turns voice messages into text in your Telegram groups. From today it also has a new AI that knows your group: it remembers what people wrote, searches the web and answers when you mention it, even by voice.
Transcription is better too. Voice and video messages turn into text on their own, in any language.
An AI that remembers your group
Mention @DoublegramScribeBot or reply to one of its messages to ask something. Scribe reacts with ⚡ and answers in a few seconds.
It answers knowing the chat. Ask "what did we decide about Saturday?" or "who sent the hotel link?" and Scribe looks through the group's messages to find it. It can also search the web and read the links you send, and it tells you where the information comes from.
You can ask by voice too: reply to Scribe with a voice message, and it answers your question.
Scribe also keeps notes on the group: the things that stay true, and what members ask it to remember. Send /memory to see them. With Premium, it also updates them every night from the day's messages.
Catch up with /summary
Been away for a while? Send /summary and Scribe tells you what you missed. Only you see the answer.
More commands for everyone in the group:
- /search: find messages in the group.
- /translate: reply to a message to translate it.
- /tldr: reply to a long message to get the point.
- /remind: "remind me tomorrow at 9 to call the hotel". Reminders can repeat every day, week or month. /reminders shows the group's reminders.
- /forget: Scribe forgets your messages in the group.
/search, /reminders and /forget are free. /summary, /translate, /tldr and /remind use the AI.
Voice and video messages to text, in any language
Every voice message and video message in the group turns into text by itself, a few seconds after it's sent. Scribe recognizes the language on its own, so it works in groups where people speak different languages. Long transcripts open in a quote you can expand. To transcribe an audio file, reply to it with /transcribe.
Transcription is free: 30 minutes a day per group and 10 per person, with voice messages up to 5 minutes. With Premium, a group gets 120 minutes a day, 40 per person, and voice messages up to 30 minutes.
Also new
- Secret messages only the recipient sees: reply to someone with /pm and your message, or write /pm @username. Thanks to Telegram's latest update, the message shows up in the group only for you and the recipient. Photos, videos, GIFs, voice messages and files work too: send them with /pm in the caption. To answer in secret, the recipient replies with /pm. Scribe never keeps secret messages.
- Automatic replies: admins reply to any message with /reply and a word, and Scribe sends that message every time someone writes the word. Formatting stays as it is, and photos, GIFs, videos, voice and video messages, stickers and files work too. /replies lists them, /unreply removes one.
- Who uses the AI: everyone, admins only, the owner only, or nobody. Admins can also set how many credits each person, or the whole group, can spend per day, week or month.
- How the AI answers: six personalities (Natural, Professional, Friend, Witty, Blunt and Mentor), length, formal tone, emoji, language, the reaction, your instructions and what Scribe should know about the group.
- Who can change settings: all admins, or only the group owner.
Everything is in the group: send /start and tap ⚙️ Settings.
Your group's messages
Scribe keeps only the text of the group's messages, captions and transcripts, never the files. Free groups keep 7 days; with Premium, admins choose 7, 30 or 90 days. Secret messages are never kept. When Scribe leaves a group, that group's messages and notes are deleted right away.
How to start
Tap the button at the bottom of this page and choose your group. Scribe joins as an admin, so it can see the voice messages and the chat. If you add it another way, remember to make it an admin.
