In your private Telegram chat, @DoublegramAIBot remembers recent messages so follow-up questions make sense. When the topic changes or the thread gets long, you can save, restore, or clear conversations — all from @DoublegramAIBot.
How context works
Each message you send and each AI reply stays in your active conversation. The bot uses that history when answering, so you can say make it shorter or translate that to Spanish without repeating yourself.
Long conversations can slow responses. Check how many messages are in the thread with /status. When it feels crowded, clear or save and start fresh.
/clear — start fresh
Send /clear when you want to reset context.
If you have messages in the current thread, the bot asks what to do:
- Save conversation — archives the thread so you can restore it later
- Delete permanently — removes it with no archive
If there is nothing to clear, the bot tells you the conversation is already empty.
Tip: Before a big topic change — e.g. from coding help to travel planning — save or clear so the AI does not mix contexts.
/chats — restore a saved conversation
Send /chats to see conversations you saved with /clear → Save.
Tap a title in the list to restore that thread. The bot reloads the archived messages into your active chat so you can continue where you left off.
If you have no saved conversations yet, the bot suggests using /clear and saving before your next reset.
When to save vs delete
- Save — project work, long research, drafts you might return to
- Delete — one-off questions you will not need again
- Just keep chatting — if context still helps and length is fine
Commands work in private chat only
/clear and /chats only work in your private Telegram chat with the bot — not in Telegram groups.
Quick reference
/clear— save or delete current thread, then start fresh/chats— list and restore saved conversations/status— see conversation length
