Silent Mode for Telegram Groups

Keep your Telegram group feed tidy with Silent Mode. In /settings → Silent Mode turn it on and set delete delay (1–30 min) — @doublegram_captcha_bot removes success and kick messages automatically after members verify or time out.

Verification messages help newcomers in Telegram groups, but busy chats can fill with success and kick notices. Silent Mode in @doublegram_captcha_bot deletes those messages automatically after a delay.

Enable Silent Mode

  1. Send /settings in the group (admin).
  2. Tap 🔇 Silent Mode (shows ✅ ON or ❌ OFF on main menu).
  3. Toggle Silent Mode on.
  4. Set Delete after (min) with ➖ / ➕ buttons.

Delay range

1 to 30 minutes after the event (default 10 minutes when the group is first registered). The kicker thread deletes messages once the delay passes.

Which messages are deleted?

  • Verification success — user completed captcha (or was auto-trusted)
  • Kick / timeout messages — user removed for not verifying

The pending verification message (with Verify Captcha button) stays until the user verifies or times out.

When deletion runs

  • After success or kick, a timer starts for the configured delay
  • Background cleanup also processes queued deletions on each kicker cycle

Trade-off: Silent Mode reduces clutter but members may miss why someone disappeared. Pair with Notifications if admins need private alerts — see Admin Notifications on Telegram.
