Add @DoublegramScribeBot to Your Telegram Group

@DoublegramScribeBot is designed for teams and communities that already communicate in Telegram groups. Adding the Telegram bot takes a minute; transcription works immediately on the free tier.

Before you add Scribe

• You need permission to add members to the group (usually admin)
• Works in standard groups and supergroups
• Forum topics are supported — transcription and AI work inside topic threads
• Scribe does not work in channels where the bot cannot read member messages

How to add the bot

1. Open your Telegram group.
2. Go to group Info → Add members (or Add subscribers).
3. Search for @DoublegramScribeBot.
4. Add the bot and confirm.
5. Optionally promote Scribe if your group requires bots to have permissions to read messages — most groups work with Scribe as a normal member.

What happens when Scribe joins

Scribe auto-activates in free mode — no command needed:

• The bot posts a short confirmation: ✅ Bot activated!
• Voice transcription is enabled for all members
• 50 transcriptions per hour shared across the group

• AI features are not active until someone enables group premium with /upgrade

If Scribe is removed

When the bot is removed or kicked from the group, Scribe cleans up its group registration. Re-add the bot to start fresh — auto-activation runs again.

Private chat vs group

Adding Scribe to a group is different from chatting privately with the bot:
