Link Your Doublegram Account for Telegram Lookup

Before searching in Telegram, you must link your account to @doublegram_lookup_bot. If you are not linked yet, the bot shows a Connect your Doublegram account message with the official link account URL.

The @doublegram_lookup_bot Telegram bot does not offer anonymous lookups. Every search in your private chat is tied to your Doublegram account so the bot can apply your plan (free daily quota or unlimited subscriber access).

If Telegram is not linked, the bot blocks /start, searches, and menu buttons — and asks you to connect first.

Why linking is required

  • Access control — Lookup checks whether you are on the free plan (5/day) or a subscriber (unlimited)
  • Quota tracking — Free lookups are counted per Doublegram user ID, not per random Telegram session
  • One identity — Your Lookup usage follows the same Doublegram profile as your subscription and other Doublegram bots
  1. Open @doublegram_lookup_bot in a private chat.
  2. Send /start or any message.
  3. If you see Connect your Doublegram account, tap or open the link shown:

  1. Sign in to Doublegram if needed and complete the Telegram linking flow.
  2. Return to Lookup and send /start again — you should see the welcome menu with My Data and How it works.

Tip: Use the same Telegram account you want to use Lookup with when you link. Switching Telegram accounts later means linking again on the new account.

After linking

Once linked, Lookup grants access based on your Doublegram plan:

  • Free linked users — 5 lookups per UTC day
  • Subscribers — unlimited lookups

Open /start → My Data to confirm your Telegram ID, username, and plan status.

Already have a Doublegram account?

If you use other Doublegram bots (AI, Scribe, Captcha), you may already be linked. Open Lookup — if the welcome menu appears, you are good to go.

If Lookup still says connect account:

  • Complete the link flow again from the URL above while logged into the correct Doublegram profile
  • Ensure you are chatting with Lookup from the same Telegram account you linked

Troubleshooting

  • Link page does not open — Copy the URL manually into your browser while logged into Doublegram.
  • Linked but Lookup still blocks — Wait a few seconds and retry. If it persists, Lookup may be unable to reach the Doublegram API (temporary unavailable message).
  • Wrong Doublegram profile — Link again while signed into the profile that holds your subscription.
