Reminders in Telegram are not set in stone. Ask @DoublegramScribeBot to update the time or text, or delete reminders you no longer need — using the same natural language as when you created them.
View your active reminders
Ask Scribe what is scheduled:
- What are my active reminders?
- Show my upcoming reminders
- @DoublegramScribeBot list my reminders (in a group)
Scribe lists pending reminders with text and time. Only your reminders in this chat are shown — not other members' reminders.
Edit a reminder
Describe what to change. Scribe matches your request to an active reminder using context (message text, time, recent conversation):
- Change the client call reminder to 3pm instead of 2pm
- Update tomorrow's reminder — the subject is budget review, not status update
- Move my Friday reminder to Monday at the same time
- Also tag @sarah on the invoice reminder
When Scribe is confident about which reminder you mean, it updates immediately and shows the new details.
If the request is ambiguous, Scribe may show a confirmation summary with old vs new text and time before applying the change — read it carefully and clarify if needed.
Delete a reminder
Cancel in plain language:
- Delete the reminder about the report
- Cancel my reminder for tomorrow morning
- @DoublegramScribeBot remove all reminders about the client call
- Delete reminder 2 (if you just listed them)
Confirmation button
For deletions where Scribe is not fully certain, it shows the reminder details and a ✅ Confirm deletion button. Tap the button to confirm — the reminder is removed and the message updates to show success.
When Scribe is highly confident, it deletes immediately without a button.
Deleting multiple reminders may show one combined confirmation listing each item.
Rules for edits
- New time must be in the future — cannot reschedule to a past moment
- Only your reminders — you manage reminders you created in this chat
- Executed reminders — After 🔔 fires, the reminder is done and cannot be edited; create a new one if needed
- Timezone — Updated times use your saved timezone
Where to ask
- Private chat — Message @DoublegramScribeBot directly (subscription)
- Telegram group — Mention @DoublegramScribeBot (group premium)
- Forum topics — Ask inside the topic where you created the reminder for best matching
If Scribe cannot find the reminder
- List active reminders first, then refer to one by its text or position in the list
- Reminder may have already fired or been deleted
- You may be asking about someone else's reminder — only yours are manageable
