Configure Cross-Group Trust in Telegram Groups

Control how strict cross-group trust is in your Telegram group. In /settings → Cross-Group Trust with @doublegram_captcha_bot toggle on/off, set minimum verifications (1–20) and validity days (5–365) — the bot only auto-approves users who meet both thresholds.

Cross-Group Trust is configurable per Telegram group. Admins balance convenience (fewer captchas) vs security (everyone must verify).

Open trust settings

  1. Send /settings in the group.
  2. Tap 🤝 Cross-Group Trust.

Options

SettingDefaultRangeMeaning
Trust ON/OFFONEnable or disable auto-verify for trusted users
Min verifications11–20Successful captchas required globally
Validity (days)305–365Max days since last success still counts

Use ➖ / ➕ buttons to adjust numbers. Toggle trust with the Trust ON/OFF button.

Example policies

  • Open community: 1 verification, 30 days
  • Medium security: 2–3 verifications, 14 days
  • High security: Trust OFF — everyone always completes captcha
  • Seasonal group: 1 verification, 5 days — trust expires quickly

How checks run on join

@doublegram_captcha_bot reads the user's trust record:

  • success_count ≥ your minimum?
  • last_verified_at within your day window?

Both must pass (and trust must be ON) for auto-approval.
